Takeoff
The jet engines have enormous power (and they're loud too). Don't
try to lift off too soon, you'll want to have about 110 knots
(170 km/h) speed. You'll need plenty of runway to get going.
After lift
off, retract the gear to build up airspeed.
Once airborne,
you'll be able to accelerate quickly.
From spot view,
you can watch the control surfaces move.

Performance
The Me262 has
a tendency to side slip at low airspeeds. Never fly a tight turn
at speeds below 400 km/h.
Although you're
faster than the enemy, he can turn much tighter. He can also
accelerate faster than you so keep your speed above 550 km/h
in combat.
Landing
Approach speed
on is about 120 knots (190 km/h) knots with full flaps. This
is a little hot, so you'll need plenty of runway. Aim to use
the full length of the runway.
