fly the F4U-5 Corsair?
A. You can fly the F4U-5
Corsair for seven days. After this trial period, you can
order a Registration Key directly from us in order to unlock
the trial expiration.
- Q. When I select the
F4U-5 Corsair from the CFS1, CFS2, FS2000 or FS2002 Aircraft
menu, the Unregistered Aircraft dialog box won't allow me to
click on the Try it for free button. Why not?
A. The seven day trial
period has expired. The trail period begins the first time you
click on the Try it for free button and continues for
seven consecutive days. After this trial period has expired,
you'll need to purchase a Registration Key to unlock the trial
expiration.

Q. When I try to select
the F4U-5 Corsair from the Aircraft menu, a bright yellow
screen appears and I can't see the visual model of the plane.
What's wrong?
A. In order to fly any
of the Premier Collection aircraft, you'll need to have a small
program in your CFS1, CFS2, FS2000 or FS2002 \modules folder
named 'asreg01.dll'. This program keeps track of the trial
period and registration information. If this program is missing,
the bright yellow screen pops up to remind you to copy this program
to the flight simulator \modules folder. If you see this message,
reinstall the aircraft.

- Q. Why can't I fly the
F4U-5 Corsair with Flight Simulator 98?
A. This aircraft was
especially crafted for CFS1, CFS2, FS2000 or FS2002 including
the panel and flight model. Due to its high resolution "paint
job", it is not FS98 compatible.
- Q. While on the ground,
I have a hard time stopping the F4U-5 Corsair. Why?
A. This is a characteristic
of most combat aircraft. Real life WWII aircraft also exhibit
this property. To stop, make sure that the throttle is completely
closed (engine at idle) when applying the brakes. Download and
replace the original performance file with this newer file f4u5mp.air
to minimize this problem.

Either way,
you'll be given a Registration Key. When you select the F4U-5
Corsair from your Aircraft menu, you'll see a small dialog box
in which you can type this Registration Key. After you've entered
the Registration Key, you will have unlocked the trial expiration
and won't have to enter the Registration Key again.
