- From the CFS menu, choose Free
Flight.
- Beneath Player
Aircraft choose your aircraft by selecting one by clicking
the Change/Modify button. Be sure to choose an aircraft
for which you've installed the new EZ-GPS instrument.
You'll want to take off from Leiston Airfield so click on the
Airfield radio button and choose Leiston.
- Take off from
Leiston and when you reach a safe altitutde - say 2000 feet or
so - click on the AP button. The green light will illuminate indicating that EZ-GPS
has engaged on the autopilot. Your aircraft will turn towards
its first waypoint - Halesworth - about 7 nm away.
- If you click the Alarm
button, the red
light will illuminate indicating
that the alarm is set. When you're within 5nm of the waypoint,
the red alarm light will begin flashing.
- When you are within .5 nm
of the waypoint, EZ-GPS will change to the next waypoint.
The autopilot will also be reset to steer you to the new waypoint.
- EZ-GPS will continue to change: Halesworth,
Lake and Canal, Island and Beach and Leiston. When your aircraft
reaches the last waypoint (Island and Beach), both the GPS and
the autopilot will remain set on its last heading.
