Custom Panel Designer
Touching Up
| One nice feature of Custom Panel Designer is its ability to show you how the panel looks without having to run FS2000, FS98 or CFS. If you have some touching up to do on your background bitmaps, you can easily link to your favorite paint program. By clicking on the Start Paint Program speedbutton, we're able to launch our paint program (in our case Paint Shop Pro) and quickly retouch the background bitmap. ![]() |
| Previewing The Finished Product
When your touch up work is complete, click off the Display Rectangles speedbutton to preview the panel. This gives you a very close approximation of how the panel will appear using FS2000, FS98 or CFS. Of course the gauges won't be functioning, but you will see them in their exact position. |

Simply save the panel and the panel.cfg is updated. Now you can click on the Start Flight Sim 2000, Start Flight Sim 98 or Start Combat Flight Sim speedbuttons to launch the simulators and see our new panel in action!
