- Q. What can I do in DEMO
MODE of Custom Panel Designer?
A. DEMO MODE lets you
build and modify panels with up to five instruments. In DEMO
MODE, we believe that you will get a feel for how much time you'll
be able to save using Custom Panel Designer.
- Q. When I try to launch
my paint program (e.g. Paint Shop Pro 5) to edit the panel bitmap,
I get a message saying "The specified file is empty or could
not be opened." What is the problem?
A. Custom Panel Designer
is trying to launch PSP. However, PSP doesn't appear to accept
the name of the bitmap if the fully qualified pathname contains
at least one imbedded space. For example, if the panel bitmap
is is this directory c:\fs98\Aircraft\dir
name with spaces\panel\c182.bmp,
a work around is to change the name of the path to remove imbedded
spaces to c:\fs98\Aircraft\dir_name_without_spaces\panel\c182.bmp.
