| The Premier Collection Boeing 747-430 has new modern cockpit with excellent instrumentation. One of the design goals of this layout is to organize and simply the trememdous amount of flight data that is available to the pilot and present it the most useful and meaningful way.
Below is a general description of the two main CRT displays: the Primary Flight Display and the Navigation Display. The details about each of the instruments, knobs, switches and readouts are found in the download 'Readme'. | ![]() |
![]() Primary Flight Display Primary Flight Display - provides ADI, turn coordinator, actual speed, speed limits based on aircraft configuration, autopilot speed bug and value, V1 and VR bugs, actual altitude, autopilot altitude bug and value, ground altitude (radio altimeter), decision height, vertical speed, support for metric and English units, heading rose with autopilot heading bug, autopilot modes active and armed, flight director with two modes.
| ![]() Nav Display - Compass Arc Mode Navigation Display - provides Compass Arc or Compass Rose modes, VOR1, VOR2, ADF, ILS DME1 and Navaid IDs. Each item is displayed if available ( you must be tuned to a valid navaid frequency to display the needle and ID). It also displays the wind direction and speed (numerical values and arrow). To switch between Arc and Rose modes, press the panel 9 activation keys (Shift+9) or rotate the knob.
